“Kuku23 –A (Culture) City in the City” “In Liesing, the new Kuku23 district is being built around the former Atzgersdorf coffin factory: a new art and culture quarter with a total of 430 subsidised flats, workshops, studios, a dance school and a music school.““Social mix, low-threshold cultural and spatial offerings for children, young people, creative people, the self-employed, young and old – in the truest sense of the word, plenty of room for creative fulfilment.”“The studios, rehearsal rooms and communal kitchens on the ground floor are open to everyone. The cultural tapestry of the neighbourhood weaves the neighbouring Bildungscampus Atzgersdorf, the Fabrik 1230 and the new residential quarter into a common whol.”“The neighbourhood is structured in a variety of ways across five blocks: loggias, balconies, communal roof terraces, SMART-flats, residential workshops or column-free studios, lots of greenery, lots of light.
